WHO WE ARE
We are a community with a common life in Christ: Faithful devotion to God (2 Pet.1:1-10), joyful friendships grounded in love (John 13:35) and a sincere concern for the lost and least (Micah 6:8).
We envision an intergenerational community where young and old are received for their gifts and contributions. Both respect, care and honour each other with sincere love. We envision children as whole members of the community and adults of all ages and races finding a place of belonging and purpose. We envision all members growing in their love for God, for each other and also for the lost and least. We desire to see a community living for God, secure in His love and walking boldly in their purpose.

Our Story...
"Arise Community Church, therefore, is a community called to be a righteous people and to be a voice of joy and gladness. Our founding scripture is Psalm 1: “A tree planted by streams of water, bearing its fruit in all seasons, whose leaves do not wither and who prospers in all they do." We are called to be oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, Isaiah 61:3. We embrace the promise that: “The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day,” Proverbs 4:18.
Gathering in prayer and over fellowship, we received the words for Arise to be 'good news to the poor. Comfort for the brokenhearted, the release of the captive and freedom for the imprisoned,' (Is. 61). On the morning of our launch, we received this word: “Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy,” Isaiah 60:5. In 2024, we received a word to be a community with a ‘new song’: “the voice of joy and the voice of gladness,” (Jeremiah 33:11). Our vision then is to be a righteous people, a voice of joy and a voice of gladness, bringing good news to the poor, comfort for the brokenhearted, the release of the captive and freedom for the imprisoned.
